Our littlest members of Camp Fire are the 3-5 year old pre-school age children. We gather this energetic group together each fall and spring for 6-8 weeks of hands on learning. Each meeting helps create a sense of community and builds social and life skills.
As our children grow and start school, we offer a variety of after school and evening opportunities for our Kindergarten through 2nd graders to remain in Camp Fire. In our club meetings, we focus on building friendship skills, increasing responsibility, and beginning decision making skills. Many of our alumni talk fondly about these years as times when life long friendships began.
As our youth get older they seem to get busier and busier. Camp Fire stays right beside your busy family and your child as they grow by providing 3rd-5th graders with opportunities to practice their decision making skills, dip their feet into community service projects, and continue to build on the legacy of their Camp Fire experience. At this club level, youth begin exploring our Outdoor Skills Emblem, plans and provides more in depth community service projects, and can combine their busy school schedule into projects that will count in their Camp Fire experience (link-ups).
