Camp at its best!

If you are looking for a fun, safe camp experience for your child, then Camp Fire is the place to start looking. Our resident and day camps are operated by camp professionals that work diligently to make sure we are providing the absolute best possible camp programs.  Our staff work to help our campers develop life skills as they discover the spark that will help them develop into amazing adults.

Resident Camp

Camp Glen

Resident camp is a camp in which the youth stay overnight for multiple nights, and are supervised 24 hours a day by trained staff. Camp Fire of Northwest Ohio offers resident camp opportunities at our camp facility, Camp Glen, which is located on the banks of the Sandusky River in Seneca County.

Most of the Camp Fire resident camp programs offer a focus area called a “trail”. Each trail offers its own progression of activities specific to the trail topic. If there is more than one trail offered during the week your child wants to attend camp, they must choose one. There is designated time each morning that the campers will break out into their specific trail. Campers will also be split into separate age levels within the trail, so there is an appropriate progression of skills and information.

Day Camp

Day Campers can enjoy all the benefits of going to a Camp Fire camp during the day at Camp Glen, while returning to their home each night. Camp Glen is located on the banks of the Sandusky River just outside of McCutchensville.

The Camp Fire day camp programs also offer a focus area called a “trail.” Each trail offers its own progression of activities specific to the trail topic. Your child must choose one for the week they would like to attend. There is designated time each morning that the campers will break out into their specific trail. Campers will also be split into separate age levels within the trail, so there is an appropriate progression of skills and information.

There are two drop-off/pick-up locations for day camp:

Findlay

Campers will be transported daily out to Camp Glen from Camp Fire’s Office & Program Center in Findlay, Ohio. Daily drop-off and pick-up will be at the Office & Program Center at designated times, depending on the week of camp. These day camps also extend the Camp Fire experience to include one overnight stay on Thursday night. Campers who choose to participate in this overnight will participate in residential camp activities Thursday evening and Friday morning.

This option works best for those living near the Findlay and surrounding areas.

Camp Glen

Parent/guardian must provide their child’s transportation out to Camp Glen for this day camp. Daily drop-off and pick-up will be at our Camp Glen facility. These day camps also extend the Camp Fire experience to include one overnight stay on Thursday night.
