Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders Since 1929
Camp Fire Northwest Ohio provides engaging, accessible programs and experiences that empower all young people to discover their purpose and positively impact their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
Camp Fire Northwest Ohio provides boys and girls, ages 1-18 with opportunities for personal growth that allow them to be assets to their own community as they gain leadership skills and grow in self-reliance. We serve Hancock, Seneca, and Wood Counties with our In-School Programs, Clubs, Activities, and Camp. Camp Fire NWO relies on local funding from the United Way, corporate and individual giving, along with state and national grants. The number of children we serve directly correlates to our funding. We continuously strive to fund-raise and seek funding sources to maintain and expand our reach in the communities we serve. We diligently work to be good stewards to our resources- including our future community leaders.
Founded in 1910, Camp Fire is one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit youth development organizations. Camp Fire Northwest Ohio has been a part of the Hancock County community for 89 years. For over 100 years, Camp Fire has actively engaged youth and teens in building essential skills for life. In Camp Fire, it begins now.
