There are many ways to donate your time and skills! We serve hundreds of children each year, and are in need of volunteers who possess a variety of skills . As a result, we can probably find a job that is important to us and would be fulfilling to you.

We could specifically use your help in the following:
Camp Fire connects youth with caring adults in a variety of ways and we are always looking for parents or community members to get involved. Parents/guardians or other interested adults, who have an interest and enjoy working with youth can volunteer as Camp Fire club leaders and helpers. Volunteers need the ability to communicate and relate to the age group involved, plan and hold regularly scheduled meetings with a club, and attend club leader training. Camp Fire staff will provide training and support to all club leaders throughout the club year.
Our summer camp program at Camp Glen serves many area children each year. We are always seeking mature people with experience in camping, backpacking, orienteering, archery, challenge courses, canoeing, fishing, music and song, dance, theater, arts and crafts, gardening, and team sports would be welcome for a day, a week, a month or the summer.
Throughout the school year Camp Fire offers programing for youth when school is not in session. School day out programs are a safe place for kids to come while parents still have to work. Volunteers would assist Camp Fire Staff with planned activities and be a positive adult in the life of a child. Come be a friend for a day.
Throughout the year Camp Fire Northwest Ohio holds special events in the community. We are always looking for volunteers to help bring these events to life. If you are looking to give back to the community but do not have a lot of time to commit volunteering this is a great way to give back.
With almost 12 buildings to maintain and a dynamic development program, we can always use the help of skilled contractors, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters, tilers, pavers, earthmovers, foresters and other skilled and semi-skilled experts. We also have the regular need for unskilled workers for many important jobs.
-Surveyor. We would like to do a survey of our 100 acre camp, so we can develop trails and remote campgrounds.

Volunteering for Camp Fire’s Summer and Year-round Programs offer great rewards, by assisting and guiding children. Under the supervision of our program specialist, volunteers monitor the safety of our participates and help them with personal care. Camp Fire Northwest Ohio is entrusted with the care of children, therefore all volunteers interested in interacting with our youth must submit to a criminal background check.
